How to Use the Lesson Plan Calendar
ESL Library's Lesson Plan Calendar is a huge time-saver. You can use our calendar to find links to ready-made lessons, flashcards, resources, collections, podcasts, and blog posts related to upcoming dates.
Here is a video with step-by-step instructions on how to use the calendar:
You can also follow the steps below to locate and make the best use of the Lesson Plan Calendar.
Log in to your ESL Library account.
After logging in, you can find the Calendar icon in the top right corner of the page (see below). Click on this icon and skip to Step 5.
Alternatively, you can find the calendar through our Lessons page.
Once you have arrived on the Lessons page, click the "Calendar" tab in the center of the page.
The Calendar page will automatically open to the current month. You will see short introductory paragraph followed by a chronological list with corresponding materials. A list on the left side will allow you to choose another month that you are planning for.
Once you find a topic that would interest your students, click on the topic and the corresponding materials will expand underneath it.
Access the corresponding materials by clicking on the titles. For example, if you click on "Earth Day" (to expand this topic) and then "Earth Day Lesson," it will bring you to the preview page for this lesson.
We hope you enjoy using our Lesson Plan Calendar! Please reach out to us if there are any topics you would like to see added, or for extra tips on using the calendar in class.
